7/22/08 UPDATED 8:09 AM Well I was wrong again. The storm went south of us and we have plenty of sunshine now for at least 5 or 6 hours. That big storm in Pennsy has slowed and is still around the Pittsburgh area. Talked to local boat angler Fred D. and he said that more and more keeper fluke are being picked up in the bay now between the BB and BI buoys.UPDATED 6;50 AM I take that back. Right now, it looks and feels like we are going to get a storm. There's a huge one in PA right now that's heading our way. It looks like it's moving fast so we'll keep you updated.

UPDATED 6:23 AM Perfect day on the beach yesterday with the light southeast, but no word of any major action other than a few scattered reports here and there. I did hear the blackfishing has definitely picked up down off the rox, and if you want green crabs for bait there are plenty down there to be had. Otherwise we have squid and salted clams that work just fine. Looks like another perfect day today with no wind whatsoever as of right now.
