This past week four couples from Bay Flats Lodge visited a resort in Playa Del Carmen Mexico. Captain Nathan Beabout and his wife enjoyed offshore fishing while catching sailfish. Meanwhile the rest of the crew enjoyed lying out by the swimming pools and recharging our batteries.
I want to thank Captain Harold Dworaczyk for managing the lodge while we were away. He also did a wonderful job guiding James M. and family with near 20 trout on Saturday. On Wednesday night the lodge welcomed a Chemical Company in for a customer destination-fishing trip. Despite dodging storms and showers on Thursday, both Captain Harold and James put the group on excellent catches of trout & reds. Each boat was able to box 20 plus trout.
Friday the same group has one boat scheduled. The lodge is excited to entertain 19guest for 6-boat trip on Saturday. That same day, the lodge welcomes a large Lumber company in with 25 guests with a 7-boat trip on Sunday. Reports to come.
