Left for the Wilmington at 1:00 a.m. arrived just before sunrise and started trolling. At 5:45 as I'm straightening up inside the cockpit, My fathers friend yells Blue on the right short(Blue and White Illander sailure) from the bridge and nearly tackles me going for the rod. We clear all the other lines while the blue is just screaming line out. My fathers friend fights the fish until release, estimated at 350. After that we got a couple mahi 1 nice one a 60 pound Yellowfin and missed 2 more yellowfin. Then around 1:30 I'm up on the bridge looking back at the line when I see another big blue wack the hell out of the right teaser (Black Bart) and disapear. Two minutes later we see the fish free jump twice a hundred yards away. We worked the area hard with no other shot. My dad tells me to run the boat while he goes to the bathroom. I take the helm and a minute later I see what looks like porpoise busting the surface. I turn towards them and its a school of Yellowfin, which quickly take down a couple rods but only one hooked up. At 3:30 we headed in.
