Viking Fleet Fishing Report 6/8/08

Sunday June 8th

Captain Dave reports that todays trips saw tougher fishing then we have seen over this past few weeks. A lot of the Porgies coming over the rails were on thew smaller side and not keepers. Later in the day things improved enough to have most anglers catch their fill of Porgies. On the morning trip the Porgy pool was taken by Yarns Ghee of Orange NJ with a 3.7lb Porgy. The edible pool was won by Grant Conway of Newark NJ with a 4.1lb Sea Bass. In the afternoon Modrick Cunningham of PA won the pool with a 3.3lb Porgy.
