I wish I had a better report for you this week on the seabass catch. All this week it seems we have struggled to put a catch together. Some trips we pull in a lot of throwback seabass with a few keepers mixed in here and there and other trips we have been lucky to get a few fish in the boat. Still getting the occasional keeper tog but they are definetly not biting as well as a couple weeks ago. Last week was the start of our night fishing trips. We had about the same luck at night as the day except on some trips we were lucky enough to pull in a few bluefish with the bass we were catching. However we did see some signs of improvment over the last 3 trips. The seabass seemed to be cooperating a little more today and yesterday mornings trip. We also managed to pull in several flounder today so hopefully things will improve. Can't wait for croakers.
