South Jersey Marina Weekly Charter Report 6/8/08

The Charter Fleet at South Jersey Marina recorded it's first Shark of the year on Friday 6/6/08. Captain Andy Merendino and his "Cape Queen" weighed in a 162 pound Mako Shark. The angler was Nicholas Taft of Westchester, PA.

The other significnt catch recorded was a 69 pound Black Drum by a 12 year old boy named Max Couch of Alloway, NJ. He was part of a charter on the Olivia Grace that managed to bring home a total of 10 Drum fish that day.
"Top Shelf" and "Big Game" were among the other Charter Boats who caught a significant number of Drum fish.
This is a final reminder to sign up for our annual Shark Tournament. It promises to be a memorable event filled with good fishing, good food, large cash prizes and live entertainment. Last minute sign ups are accepted at the Captains Meeting on 6/12.
