Oregon Inlet's Fishing Report 6/28/08-6/29/08

Things were too busy in the store to get pictures. Saturday 0ffshore a good showing of sailfish 11 were reported. Three blue marlin were caught. All the billfish were released. Next came dolphin and several tunas. Inshore trolling it was mostly good tailor blues with some spanish mackerel. Open boats had good speckled trout fishing in the sound. Outside the inlet cobias were caught the biggest weighed 50 pounds and black tip sharks. Open boats caught blue fish and flounders. Miss Oregon Inlet caught sea mullet and croakers. Sunday was windy. Only one boat fished offshore. They caught dolphin. Inshore boats and open boats caught bluefish and spanish mackerel.
