Offshore dolphin were plentiful. Yellowfin tuna were scattered catches ranged from 1 to 7. Two wahoo were caught one weiged 33 pounds. Billfish numbers were high for tis time of the year. 3 blue marlin 17 white marlin and 1 sailfish were recorded. One of the white marlin was in the 85 pound class. Inshore trolling was very good. Good numbers of spanish mackerel and some tailor blue fish. Bottom fishing produced impressive catches of trigger fish and 25 amber jacks. They also caught 3 dolphin and 3 king mackerelA deep bottom fishing trip had good tilefish both in numbers and size. Open boats caught flounders and a cobia. Miss Oregon Inlet had a good day on spots.
