We tried to bring the crab pots in last week, but caught too mnay crabs! We had to quit as we had limits of crab on the boat. We went out to finish the job today and got 4 crabs per person for 17 anglers. Huli Cat came in a made a drift for halibut off Montara State Beach, to no avail. We fished Montara and Moss Beach and picked away at the rockfish. We moved down off the 3 Rocks area and the bite improved. The water is still cold off the coast and the bite was slow. 3/4 limits and several lingcod made the anglers happy, especially going home with nice Dungness Crab. Dungeness Season opens next November again.
