Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 5/31/08 This past week on Guntersville may very well be the best fishing on Guntersville I have ever been part of. Every day we put 25 to 50 fish in the boat, we caught a big fish or several big fish and the bass hit just about everything you used as bait. We caught fish from 5 inches long to 9 pounds in size. We fished all different depths; we fished different parts of the lake from above BB Comer Bridge to Honey Comb. We fished humps, points, grass edges, from the main channel to the creeks and we caught fish in all those areas. The bass are just putting on a show and offering up a lot of fun, my clients have big smiles and for me it makes everyday special. My big fish producer this week is a Tight-Line Jig in 3/4 oz. Black and blue in color, the Mister Twister finesse worm and their 11-inch big worm red in color (big red) are catching the numbers. The top water bite has been great early and any form of top water bait is catching fish. What can I say it just doesn't get any better than this! Come fish with me, there are some great days ahead.
