Capt. Mike reported the 8am fluking was much improved today. A nice mix of keepers and shorts. A slow but steady pick throughout the day with fish caught at every stop. Kyle Blount far and away had the best catch today with a full limit of fluke including three jumbos between 4 and 6 pounds out of a total catch of 33 fish. He was fishing a hi lo spro set up and it was deadly. Another fellow using a tandem bait rig had 4 nice keepers to 4 lbs out of a catch of 22 fish. Everyone on board left with some fresh fluke fillets for some good meals. Next 8am boat leaves tomorrow morning and it will be the Admiral Frances.

Capt. Paul reported the Technicorp charter enjoyed some excellent fishing today. His group caught fish up to 7lbs and tallied a nice pile of keeper fluke to bring home.

Capt. Rich reported an outstanding day today aboard the 7am fluke boat. There were lots of limits. There were also some anglers that only had a fish or two but everyone went home with fish. Spro jigs and bait rigs both worked well today. Angler hi lights include but are not limited to the following: Pak from New York had 7 fish to 6 pounds while Choi from NY had a full limit to 7lbs, Oh from NY had a full limit to 4lbs while Kim from NY also had a full limit to 5lbs and another fellow from the Empire State was limited out on fluke to 5lbs. Connie and Peter Tu each had 5lb fish today. There were three fish over 8lbs today on the boat with the largest pushing the 9lb mark. A few good size sea bass to 3lbs but the take was just about all fluke.

Capt. Don reported this weekend's offshore trip did show some improvement over last week's on the jig grounds but overall the action was still not up to the level we would like to see. Anglers did get some market cod, a bunch of hake including some brutes in the mid 20's, several slammer Pollock in the 30lb range, a bunch of big ocean perch and a nice monkfish. One more offshore trip for the spring season and that departs next Friday Night at 10pm.
