Capt. George reported that fluking on the 8am boat started great in the morning with lock and load shorts and a few nice keepers then subsequent moves to find more keeper fish just did not pan out and all the action came to a crawl. A couple nice scup and keeper sea bass in the mix today as well. Anglers did enjoy a beautiful day on the water however and the fishing was solid throughout most of the week and we look for a fast rebound tomorrow. The Admiral Frances is the 8am fluke boat Sunday morning.
Capt. Rich reported a very good day of fluking aboard the 7am boat. Just a few limits today including Jay from Massachusetts who threw back a good majority of his keepers, keeping just a few for the table. Jay had several jumbos in his catch today. Peter and Connie Tu combined for a nice catch of 10 keepers including some jumbos while Ron Dugan and friend Jon from Ct had a great day with a nice pile of big fluke to take home including a bunch in the 4 to 5lb range. Irene Brown and Norm Davis combined for a nice bunch of fluke to take home with Irene scoring a fine 6lb slab. It was a steady pick of nice size fish throughout the day with a couple good size sea bass mixed in as well. Next 7am boat sails tomorrow morning aboard the Gail Frances.
Capt. Mike reported his full day fluke charter. the Sharon Paquin group enjoyed lots of action with the fluke but just a handful of keepers.
