Man, what a day.

Things started out slow, we only managed a king and a skippy.

Then we hooked up, my good friend Paul Hunt in the chair, and he caught himself a 300# blue marlin. Paul has been fishing with us about 10 years, way back when we had the little boat, and he has had four other blue marlins hooked up, but they managed to get away. But not this one. We got a really up close and personal look at him beside the boat as Paul took the hook out of him.

Catching a bunch of dolphins was pretty cool too!

Paul had along with him three friends, two of them did not make it in the pic.
