Sounds like a pretty good day. The allday trip had a big trip. Plenty of big pollock, by big, I talking 13 to 17 pounds, a great catch of nice cod, 8 to 18 pounds, with some closer to 20 pounds, and the haddock were around in great numbers too! Plus, the hounds were off their game today. They were a pain in the ass off and on, but clams did catch some nice cod and haddock. The bad news was for me, there were only 26 people on board the boat.
Half day trips produced just a few groundfish, but all the macks you could ever want. The afternoon, the halfday trips were in closer to land, catching alot of macks, checking out rumors of big stripers in close to land, and even some people were checking out the flounder. A real combo trip. MAcks, stripers and flounder. So far its been macks and a few flounder. No stripers as of 4:00pm.
