Now, we move on to the next step which will be building our mono rig for trolling the sea witch.

The first thing I do is I pull off 20 feet of my leader material.
Then I crimp my loop onto the end of my leader.
Next I get my materials that I am going to need to complete my rig. Crimps, weight, hook, wire for the pin and my crimpers.
I am using 100 lb suffix mono for my leader material. I also use a piece of #9 wire as my cheater wire to Wahoo proof my hook. So, I have to use a 1.6 crimp to have enough room for my 100 lb test mono and the #9 wire to fit all together.
Now I take the end of my leader and I slide on the sea witch and then my 1.6 crimp. Then I slide my leader through the eye of the hook from the top side of the hook. Then I go through the weight and back into the 1.6 crimp.
Then I insert the cheater wire into the eye of the hook, through the weight and into the crimp with the longer piece of wire on top because that is going to be your pin. Then I crimp it in place and the rig is complete.
