Capt. Victor Bunting on the Ocean Princess reports that this past weekend saw the fishing continue to improve with good catches of Sea Bass and Tautog. Saturday and Sunday we had lots of Sea Bass, and although many were throwbacks, fishermen averaged 10-15 keepers per person. We also had some excellent Tautog fishing, especially Saturday, with everyone getting their two fish limit, some over 8 pounds. Monday saw a nice improvement on the bass fishing with lots of fish in the two-three pound range plus about 10 Sea Bass that topped 3-1/2 pounds. So while we are not seeing limits of Sea Bass, everybody is putting some nice fish in their coolers. The water is still cold for this time of year, so we are expecting fishing to continue to improve as things warm up.

This Friday we have a special 12 hour trip where we hope to find more of those nice big Sea Bass. It is a reservations only trip, so call now to secure one of few spots remaining. Saturday we begin our summer schedule of 1/2 day fishing. The Ocean Princess will be sailing at 9am to 1pm and again at 2pm to 6pm. So come on down and enjoy a day of fishing on the Ocean Princess.
