My father & I went out of OCMD for some bluefish on 5/3/08. We put lines in at the Jackspot. It was lifeless. Almost no bait. No birds. No knock downs. The water temps were 55-56.

We decided to pick up & head to the Bass Grounds. The water was a little warmer, 58. We picked up some nice chopper blues. We caught the bluefish on 7.5" pink & blue hoochies, which I make myself. We had a spread of various sized hoochies, a popping plug, & purple & black Rapala Magnum. All bites were on top on the hoochies.

The conditions were a little sporty in the AM with 15kt winds out of the south, 3-4' seas. Everything laid out in the PM, and made for a nice afternoon. We fish a 23' World Cat out of Ocean Pines.
