The carnage of Bass and Blues is listed on the previous 4 pages of weigh-ins! If you missed it, you probably won't truly understand the massive amount of fish and the length of time they were taking anything that you threw at them! A once in a lifetime fishing day? I think so!
We had a pretty good day going before all hell broke loose in the afternoon. We had the ocean water temps come up to normal at last and the weigh-in book was looking good from early morning on. Then the lines at the scale started forming and the number of happy and excited fishermen, fisherwomen and fisherkids was pretty impressive. You don't need me to blither about it, just go to the Monday weigh-ins and you will get the idea.
Will it happen again today? Not likely (at least not at that scale) but wouldn't it be something if it did! If you can get out there, I would!
The doom & gloom group are back at work - Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers this morning…then partly sunny with showers and thunderstorms likely mainly later this afternoon. Some thunderstorms may produce gusty winds and frequent lightning this afternoon. Highs in the lower to mid 70s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent. TRANSLATION - It may rain (and maybe not) so bring your rain gear so you won't need it!
Don't forget to get signed up for one of the assorted Tournaments if you haven't yet. We have one to fit any fisherman/woman. (And it will make Mike happy - It doesn't take much to amuse a simple mind)
Grumpy hisself
Paul and Ray would like to thank everyone for weighing in their fish yesterday. You all kept Grumpy so busy typing names that he couldn't bother either one of them. Your help is greatly appreciated. I on the other hand was smart enough to stay away from him all together yesterday…..Mike
