Today was slick calm.

We got a little bit of a late start this morning, so I decided to start east of most of the fleet, thinking I wouldn't be behind everybody else. We hit one of my favorite jiggin' spots on the way offshore, and caught our limit of amberjacks. Nothing like watching those rods bend. Anyway, the boats to the south had a good sign of billfish, mostly blue marlin, and some fairly decent gaffer dolphin fishing as well. We didn't have a lot of bites, but the seven dolphin we caught were all nice size gaffers. I think fishing is going to be great tomorrow, and I had a last minute cancellation, if anybody is interested.
