The fluke boat will be out looking for a repeat of yesterday's action and we are anxiously looking forward to tonight's squid trip at 7pm. The squid fishing was hot all last week and tonight's weather looks spectacular.

Capt. Mike reported another solid day of local fluking. The fishing started red hot with lots of good keepers boated for the first two drifts. Then the wind came up and so did the drift and the seas. The fishing was a steady pick thereafter but good size fluke were brought to the net each and every drift. Not quite as many shorts today but plenty of quality fish. Quite a few anglers had 3-4 good fish apiece to take home with a few doing better and one angler getting 6 fine keepers himself. A nice buch of fish in the 4-5lb range but Bill from CT took the best fish of the day with a super 29 inch 10lb slab! Way to go Bill! Tandem bait rigs and hi lo bucktail/spro combinations were once again the way to go. Next fluke trip sets sail tommorrow morning aboard the Lady Frances at 8am.
