Tranquila fished the ocean for Sea Bass over the weekend and was pleased to see some nice quantities of fish. Hundreds of fish caught with plenty of keeper size fish. There were even a few Flounder mixed in. Before long, the Thresher Sharks should be moving in and will feed on the Sea Bass. The Mako and Bluefin Tuna will be here shortly. June is usually a prime month for both. Then the Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo and Marlin. Fishing is then in full swing.

For those looking for an excellent, relaxing, inexpensive day on the water, the ocean trips are the way to go now. There is a better chance of catching keeper Flounder with the new requirements of 19 1/2" for Delaware. With the new Delaware saltwater fishing license requirement and the high cost of fuel, taking a charter boat really is the way to go. Tranquila is a fast boat which allows for more time fishing and less time traveling to the fishing grounds. Eliminate all the hassels and fish with us this year!
