We started out putting in from Taylors Landing at 0600 with Scott, Phil, and Mike to do a trip that as i said to the crew "Were going for Sea Bass and mabey some Tiles. Well as we rounded the cape and still no waves it was apparent that we were about to settle in for a little ride. We got radio comms with Lou "chumlord" and kept heading east after 2 short hrs we finally pulled the sticks back and started to get on the fish shows with the finder. First drift we missed the mark but the secon and all the following drifts the rods steadly bent under the strain of tiles, chopper blues, and Black sea bass. After we were getting at a comfortable point in our fish box we all elected to pull off and bounce a few wrecks on the way back which ended up producing a few more bass and a little less reeling. The big fun was the last wreck we fished I hear the guys in the pit saying WHATS THAT!!!! the color under the boat had turned to grey and was slowly crusing away …….Thats #2 Great White that we have seen this season. We finally pointed West and crused comfortably back where the crew scrubbed the boat (thanks guys I didn't want to tackle that) and we all cleaned the fish. Not exactly sure of the count but the totals that i knew of were.
20 Tiles up to 11Lbs
15-20 Black Sea Bass up to 4.8 LBS
Chopper Blues up to 15LBS
