Merrimack, N.H., March 31 — Raymarine, Inc., a world leader in marine electronics, today announced its 2008 Seminar Series, taking place from April 12 through November 15 in eight different locations across the U.S. Just in time for boating season, the Seminar Series is specifically designed for owners of Raymarine's C-Series and E-Series Multifunction Displays, offering them tips and techniques for optimally using their onboard systems. Led by Raymarine product experts, each seminar is limited to 30 attendees and includes interaction with actual multifunction displays, providing a very personalized and hands-on learning experience.

"While all of our electronics are easy to learn and use, our multifunction displays are highly sophisticated pieces of equipment that offer many levels of features and functionality," said Dave Bimschleger, president of Raymarine, Inc. "Through the seminar series, we hope to enable our customers to fully utilize their onboard electronics, ultimately resulting in a better on-the- water experience."

Each Seminar Series focuses on five important topic areas:

• System Overview covers layout and controls, pages and window controls as well as pages and windows customization.
• Voyage Planning includes discussion on the tides and currents, weather forecasts, plotting waypoints, building routes and archiving routes.
• Underway Activities focuses on navigating via autopilot, real-time weather and 3D Chartplotter.
• Using the Fishfinder provides an overview of controls, display, modes,usage and Fishfinder GPS integration.
• Radar introduces an integration overlay, with a discussion aroundmeasuring tools and MARPA and AIS target tracking

The seminars run from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm during which attendees enjoy a complimentary lunch. To top off the day, attendees receive a Raymarine shirt and hat as well as a chance to win an assortment of Raymarine products.
