late presidents day rockfish and kids report

I was invited along for a father son fishing trip out of Rudee. Fished with the always wonderful Danny Crabbe. 6 Fathers and 9 boys ages 8-12. Trip started as rough as the weather. Tornado warnings and 6 out of the 9 boys getting sea sick. chased bait all day. Finally around mid day the capt hit a massive school of fish. 34 fish in 2 hours. All reeled in by the boys. Needless to say, they should all sleep well tonight.

kept my Contender in va beach for the last 3 years but never had the time to use it much. did not do that this year and it is almost easier to charter! go figure…
